E-invoicing 2027, without surprises
From 1 January 2027 a structured e-invoice is mandatory for domestic B2B and B2G. Below we state exactly what already works in vporiadku, what works only partly and what is still planned, with dates.
Until mandatory e-invoicing
What is an e-invoice?
It is not a PDF. It is a structured invoice that the customer's system reads and processes automatically.
Structured XML
Data in the machine-readable UBL 2.1 format per the EN 16931 standard, not a scanned PDF.
The Peppol network
Invoices are delivered over the Peppol network through a certified access point.
Legally valid
From 2027 the structured e-invoice is the tax document for domestic B2B and B2G. A PDF alone is not enough.
What works in vporiadku today
Status as of October 11, 2026. If a date slips, we change it here, not in the small print.
ISDOC and PAY by square
LiveISDOC 6.0.1 export for accounting software and the payment QR code work in the product today, with no need to wait for 2027.
Sending over the Peppol network
PlannedWe are not sending yet. The formats (UBL 2.1 / Peppol BIS 3.0) and the validation are finished and the access-point provider client is written, but it is not switched on: not a single document has ever gone out to the Peppol network. We do not operate a certified access point of our own.
Target: general availability in Q4 2026
Inbox for received e-invoices
Partly liveYou can already upload received UBL XML manually, view it in readable form and convert it into an expense. Automatic delivery from the Peppol network ships together with sending.
Target: automatic delivery in Q4 2026
Creating and validating an e-invoice
PlannedThe UBL 2.1 format per EN 16931 / Peppol BIS 3.0 and the validator that tells you what is missing before sending are finished. They become available in the e-Faktúra module together with Peppol sending.
Target: together with sending in Q4 2026
Reporting invoice data to the tax authority
PlannedAct No. 385/2025 Coll. provides for reporting invoice data to the Slovak Financial Administration. The digital postman files it: the obligation is met by handing the e-invoice to the delivery service, and the data is sent for you by the certified partner through which we are preparing sending. Reporting therefore starts together with sending and is not running yet.
Target: together with sending
Who does e-invoicing affect?
VAT payers
For domestic B2B and B2G you will have to both issue and receive e-invoices.
Non-VAT payers
You do not have to issue e-invoices, but from 1 January 2027 you must be able to receive one from a VAT-registered supplier.
B2C (consumers)
Invoicing end consumers is out of scope for now: the obligation covers B2B and B2G.
